Byron Russell, Principal Managing Partner
Byron founded Byron Russell LLC based on his years of experience in academics, national and international politics, journalism, development, finance, economic development, higher education and public relations. Having expanded a wide network in varied interests, Byron Russell LLC was formed based on a need of facilitating corporations and foundations to connect. ideas. connections. results. has been a template of performance for well over a decade. Byron was recently Executive Vice President of Method Communications, leading business development, and client management in public relations. Byron was Vice President of Development for over five years for Western Governors University (WGU). Byron led the WGU National Advisory Board, consisting of Fortune 500 corporate partners to enhance the quality of an educated workforce. Byron was the Founding Executive Director of the Salt Lake Cultural District Development, initiated with the goal of providing state-of-the-art accommodations for the non-profit and for-profit arts. As a Zions Bank loaned executive, Byron led the Salt Lake Chamber into financial solvency, created relevant programing and affiliate member opportunities. Byron worked in Development at the Utah Symphony; was a political reporter for the Washington Times covering the U.S. Congress and the Executive Branch; worked in the British House of Commons, specializing in human rights issues in South Africa and contributed to Namibia’s campaign for independence. Byron is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park in Government and Politics, and Journalism.

Monte Caldwell, Managing Partner
Monte officially became managing partner for Byron Russell LLC in August, 2011, and is responsible for contract management and documentation, financial services reporting, and client database integration and special project. His prior professional experience includes positions with Fidelity Investments as senior corporate analyst in finance and administration, Morris Travel as analyst/database administrator for corporate travel, and Marquette Equipment Finance, LLC, a subsidiary of Meridian Bank, as Vice President/Senior Operations Manager.
Monte is a Bachelor of Arts graduate of the University of Utah in Piano Performance.
Monte has held voluntary positions with the Salt Lake County Fine Arts Division, with the Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy, and currently he assists the appointed treasurer of the Governors Mansion Foundation.
