SPEED: The Art of the Performance Automobile
Ambassador John and Marcia Price opened their Deer Valley home–appropriately named “Ambassador House” and formally named “Carson House” (after the late Johnny Carson) to announce the Utah Museum of Fine Arts upcoming exhibit, “Speed – the Art of the Performance Automobile”. While the exhibit opens June 2, 2012, last night, co-chairs of the “Speed Society”: Mark and Kathie Miller and Stephen W. Denkers, promoted the upcoming exhibit by assembling potential sponsors for financial support. The amazing cars in this exhibition, selected from top private collections around the country, range from the 1937 “Million Franc Delahaye” to the ultra-cool 1957 convertible Jaguar XK-SS once owned by Steve McQueen.
